Pillar Point Beach Cleanup

Celebrate Underwater Parks Day -- help keep Pillar Point trash free.

On Saturday, January 21, volunteers will gather at noon in the Pillar Point (Mavericks) parking lot in Half Moon Bay for a beach cleanup sponsored by the Half Moon Bay Surf Club, Surfrider Foundation, and Ocean Conservancy.

Click here for a map of the Pillar Point Parking lot, where we will be meeting.  The  parking lot is small and may be full when you arrive -- if that is the case, turn around and follow west point avenue a short distance until it ends -- there's more parking there. It's a short walk back to the parking lot via West Point ave, or along the beach.

We will supply all of the materials needed for the cleanup; but feel free to bring your own pair of gloves, water, sun protection, a sturdy pair of shoes, and a rain jacket.

Please contact us with any questions you may have, and feel free to give Paul a call at 831-239-9178.
