Health is one factor that gets overlooked in today’s extremely fast-paced lifestyle. Everyone wants to grow in their career, chase dreams and in the process forget their health. Though health industry is making its mark on people getting more health and fitness conscious, not everyone is aware of the need for good health.

What one does not realize is the number of extra hours spent in front of their laptop could get them way ahead of their career but can land them with some serious health issues. A sedentary lifestyle is a major reason behind a number of issues today. Apart from obesity, one has to worry about diabetes, joint pains, spinal issues, etc, when they spend too much time in front of the system.

Weight gain is another big problem with this type of a lifestyle. One puts on weight gradually and when they realize it and try to reduce it, it becomes very difficult. This was my issue and I combated weight gain with the help of good food choices and exercise.

I bought myself an exercise bike that I placed in my living area where I usually spend at least an hour a day in front of the TV after getting back from work. This bike was placed in such a way that it did not occupy too much space but could not be missed when you are in the room.

As a result, I started using it regularly. Every time I wanted to watch TV, I got on the bike and started pedaling away. Since this was done sitting down, I never suffered any joint pains or leg aches. Instead of sitting on the couch and watching my favorite shows, I sat on the exercise bikes review, exercised and watched the shows I like.
